ATA means “the earth of the land”

ATA potteries are unique creations by Wendat pottery artist Line Gros-Louis—and her high-end pieces are truly original. A tremendously talented artist, much of her work features symbolic patterns and vestments specific to Wendat culture. For this reason, her creations can be found in several national museum shops across the province, as well as at the National Assembly of Québec. In Wendat culture, ATA means “earth from the land,” the source material used for every piece.
