EKOTE is a touring project featuring three original creations: one in dance, one in music, and one in theatre. We play, we sing, we dance — weaving connections between cultures and bringing emerging artists closer to audiences. These shows will tour across Québec starting in the spring of 2026. Stay tuned as dates are gradually added to our programming. Dance – Wahsipekuk: Beyond the Mountains Ivanie Aubin-Malo embarks on a bold new stage adventure in 2026! Following a first duo performance in 2024, this captivating project expands into a major tour starting in 2026, bringing together several artists from the Wabanaki Confederacy for an unprecedented collective performance. Weaving together dance, songs and oral storytelling, the show invites audiences into a deep reflection on homelands, cultural heritage, and the transformative power that emerges from the rootedness of the Wabanaki peoples. Prepare to experience an immersive journey that bridges generations, peoples, and transcends the boundaries of time. This show, part of the EKOTE tour – Lumière sur les scènes autochtones, is made possible through the financial support of the Government of Québec, powered by REFRAIN (Regroupement des festivals régionaux artistiques indépendants), with the collaboration of Télé-Québec in amplifying the project's reach.
