ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
You are invited to your Indigenous Tourism Quebec (ITQ) Annual General Meeting, which will be held in hybrid mode on September 19, 2024 in Eeyou territory, more specifically in Oujé-Bougoumou. You can attend the Assembly virtually via your participant portal, or in person at the Aanischaaukamikw Cree Cultural Institute.
In addition to being the members' decision-making body, the Annual General Meeting is an opportunity for members to review the annual report and audited financial statements to March 31, 2024, elect members of the Board of Directors and deal with any other business on the agenda. Workshops and training sessions will also be offered early in the day. This is a unique opportunity to network with actors and partners of Quebec's Indigenous tourism industry, face-to-face or virtual!

You will be redirected to a registration platform where you will find all relevant documents, including the agenda with the themes of , the viewing link if you wish to attend remotely, and the positions up for election on the Board of Directors. This year, all accommodation and transport costs are assumed directly by members wishing to attend the meeting in person. Snacks, beverages and lunch will be provided on site at no charge during the meeting.
ELECTIONS
On September 19, four seats on the Board of directors will be up for election. If you wish to nominate yourself for one of the seats, please indicate your interest by first sending an email
For the period 2024-25, five regular seats with a two-year term, are up for election on the Board of directors, of which -
- 2 seats are for active members (Indigenous tourism enterprise)
- 1 seat is for a delegate member (Indigenous community or organization)
- 1 seat is for an associate member (non-Indigenous enterprise or organization)

Over the past ten years, our sectoral tourism association has experienced remarkable growth, which has led to the need to optimally support the growth of our sector by offering our members a structured and culturally adapted range of services. We have therefore decided to structure and define all of the services offered by our team in relation to different perimeters of action. These services can be adapted to the different stages of development of Indigenous tourism businesses and all other ITQ partners.
