To ensure the long-term economic and social development of their community, the First Nations of Uashat mak Mani-Utenam, Matimekush Lac-John and Kawawachikamach created Transport Ferroviaire Tshiuetin to operate the rail service between Emeril, Labrador and Schefferville, Québec.
