The Contemporary Native Art Biennial (BACA) is a major visual arts event deployed in several venues in the Tiohtiá:ke/Mooniyang/Montréal region, around a theme chosen by the guest Native curators. The event showcases the work of Indigenous artists from here and elsewhere, and features per-formances, panel discussions, and invaluable opportunities for meeting and discussion. In 2021, the BACA will launch a program of exhibitions by emerging Indigenous artists and curators from the province of Québec. The 6th edition of BACA will take place in spring 2022.
