Centre-du-Québec Grand Conseil de la Nation Waban-Aki

The Grand Conseil de la Nation Waban-Aki and the MRC des Sources invite visitors to the regional Park of Mont-Ham to live a themed experience in the heart of the Ndakina. At the mountain’s summit, 713 metres in altitude, the Awdowinno statue offers a stunning view of Ndakina, the Abenaki’s ancestral land. At the foot of the mountain, the Waban-Aki area offers traditional Indigenous accommodation, an Abenaki culture discovery trail, and Espace Abénakis, an interpretation centre filled with ancient art and artefacts.
