A peaceful space

In 2021, Kebaowek First Nation launched their new marina located on the scenic shores of Lake Kipawa. The marina offers seasonal rental spaces for 52 boats and 6 transient docking spaces which can be used by visitors to access the boardwalk, dock gas pump, convenience store or restaurant across the road. While relaxing on the boardwalk or taking a dip in the swimming area is always an option, kayak and paddleboard rentals and a fully-equipped ice cream shop are now open daily in the kiosks for the summer season. Next to the marina, keep an eye out for the future cultural center and café, Anicinabe Mikana, which is certain to provide a unique and traditional cultural experience for all visitors to Kebaowek.
