Baie-Comeau, on the North Shore, is an outdoor adventure company that began operations in 2003. Owner Victor Hamel is a lifelong outdoor enthusiast, with snowmobiling, inflatables, fishing and scuba diving literally part of his daily life. In the early years, the company offered inflatable excursions to Baie St-Pancrace for tourists passing through the region, or for Baie-Comois who wanted to admire the beauty of the St. Lawrence River. In recent years, the founder's two children have joined the ranks of the company to strengthen the team and facilitate expansion. Expéditions Pirsuq now offers activities for all seasons, and operates a newly built snowmobiling station that can accommodate groups for off-trail expeditions.
