Traditionally gastronomic

Sagamité opened its doors on July 7, 1999, and since then, it has been welcoming local, regional, and international clients looking to discover Wendat culture through an immersive experience. It’s a place for gathering and sharing between the peoples, a place for reconciliation and for letting go of preconceptions. For Steeve Gros-Louis, owner of Sagamité, opening up a restaurant on Vieux-Québec’s Saint-Louis street in July 2020 was a dream come true. The sign helped pave the way for First Nations gastronomy in Wendake; and now it has an offspring establishment in historic Vieux-Québec too. The new Sagamité restaurant seats up to 100 guests.
