Cultural Immersion and Introduction to Fly Fishing
Shakutaim'u is an Indigenous enterprise from the Innu Nation community of Uashat mak Mani-Utenam on Quebec's North Shore. The enterprise provides introductory fly-fishing lessons for all and guided river experiences while promoting awareness about resource preservation and enhancement. In addition to sharing the love for fishing, Shakutaim’u is an opportunity to dive in the rich Innu culture through a culinary experience that highlights local boreal flavours.
Moreover, the enterprise offers private and corporate packages. Shakutaim’u also provides guided tours of their ancestral territory (Nitassinan).
