    RESPONSIBLE & SUSTAINABLE TOURISM

Wendake, February 25, 2021 - Indigenous Tourism Quebec (ITQ) applauds today’s announcement by the honorable Caroline Proulx, Minister of Tourism, regarding the unveiling of a responsible and sustainable tourism action plan – a notable first for a government tourism plan. Having taken part in substantive discussions and brainstorming sessions about the action plan, ITQ reiterates its support to the Quebec government which is more mindful than ever about the contribution of tourism when it comes to local communities, respectful land use and the people that make up the industry.
