Accessible and welcoming, Atikuss The Maskisin Economuseum as well as the Hotel-Boutique and the Atikuss Creation Atelier offer you total immersion in the heart of the Uashat Innu community. You'll discover an Economuseum offering a multi-sensory experience, as well as a small hotel, an art gallery, a clothing workshop and the renowned Atikuss boutique, where you can see and make the famous Boots of Hope. Here, you'll be able to admire first-hand the work of our artisans and experience this beautiful ancestral culture. Guests of the small hotel will be staying in the heart of a living cultural space featuring a handicraft boutique. In 2018, Atikuss creations proudly shod the duchesses of Carnaval de Québec, with their famous Boots of Hope! The founder and owner has won several awards over the years, including, in 2023, Female Personality of the Year, as well as Business of the Year and Retailer of the Year in the region. She was also named Outstanding Businesswoman in Canada by Indigenous Tourism Canada, and received the Femmes d'Affaires du Québec award.
