The newly built Auberge Maanitaaukimikw (Maanitaaukimikw means “guesthouse” or “visitors’ house” in the Cree language) is a bed & breakfast within the Cree community of Chisasibi, north of James Bay. It has nine comfortable and well- equipped rooms, which can accommodate two or four persons each. Also available is our two-bedroom guest house “Grand Chief Suite,” it’s fully equipped with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. Wake up to our breath-taking sunrise right next to the river.
