Chef Wolastoqiyik Wahsepekuk Indigenous
After studying at École hôtelière de la Capitale, I continued my culinary journey in the best kitchens in Québec City. My Wolastoqiyik Wahsipekuk First Nation roots are one of my many inspirations. Very early on, I immersed myself in the discovery and gathering of Quebec wild plants, as well as in the research of fermentation techniques from different cultures. My identity and my professional experiences have shaped my culinary style, which I would describe as local and eco-responsible. My Indigenous-influenced cuisine has led me to represent Quebec gastronomy in Europe and across the belle province. With my cooking show, Le cuisinier locavore, and my many projects, I am sure that the future is gourmet and tasty!
