The Espace Max One Onti Gros-Louis is a cultural and heritage project currently under development in the heart of Wendake. Dedicated to the memory of Grand Chief Max Gros-Louis, this future space aims to preserve, transmit, and promote the history, identity, and values of the Huron-Wendat Nation.
In time, the Espace will bring together artifacts, archives, Elders’ testimonies, and audiovisual content to safeguard a living memory that remains accessible to present and future generations.
The project is part of a broader initiative to promote and enhance Indigenous cultural heritage and seeks to offer visitors an immersive and educational experience that fosters understanding, respect, and intercultural dialogue.
Currently in its development phase, the Espace Max One Onti Gros-Louis is working on the design of its exhibitions, the collection of testimonies, and the establishment of a cultural and educational programming framework.
