Celebrate Indigenous Multinations in Montreal

Every glorious summer for 32 years now, the heart of downtown Montreal has been vibrating to the Festival international Présence autochtone. This year, from August 9 to 18, 2022, concerts, dances, poetry, live performances, and more than 60 competing films will be presented as part of this exceptional event. It’s an invitation to dive into the imaginary world of Indigenous Nations on the land of the First Peoples. The multi-faceted celebration is based on ancient roots of cultures that are still alive and meaningful today, on the ancestral lands from which they originated. Ten exciting days of encounters, sharing, and discoveries.
