Gesgapegiag is a Mi’kmaq community located at the mouth of the Cascapedia River, where its waters flow into Baie des Chaleurs. Discover our culture through the people, the Pow Wow, the Gesgapegiag Co-Op Handicraft (which offers a wide variety of handmade black ash baskets), as well as the wigwam-inspired Kateri Tekakwitha Church. There are several businesses in the community: the Lobster Hut, where you can snap up the best lobster in the area, Le Relais de la Cache, as well as the Chalets de l’Anse Ste-Hélène.
