An immersion in Anishinabeg land

Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg is a thriving Algonquin First Nation community that was formally established in 1853. The Algonquin culture is a living contemporary lifestyle rooted in the land through ancient traditions. The KZA Cultural Centre offers a unique perspective on Algonquin culture by showcasing our rich history through arts, stories, and guided tours. KZA is located 135 km north of Ottawa, ON. Come visit the community and don’t forget to purchase our world-renowned Awazibi Pure Maple Syrup while you’re here!
