Music – Nikamu Mamuitun

EKOTE is a touring project featuring three original productions: one in dance, one in music, and one in theatre. We play, we sing, we dance to build bridges between cultures and bring emerging artists closer to their audiences. These shows will be touring across Québec starting in spring 2026. Stay tuned as dates are gradually added to our programming. Music – Nikamu Mamuitun 2 As part of the EKOTE – Lights on Indigenous Stages tour, Nikamu Mamuitun returns with a stunning second show! Still carried by some ten emerging Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists, this new production pushes cultural exploration even further with original stories and powerful melodies. Guided by mentor musicians Ivan Boivin-Flamand and Guillaume Arsenault, Nikamu Mamuitun 2 promises an unforgettable musical experience. At the heart of this project are Makusham Musique and the Village en chanson de Petite-Vallée — two worlds that wanted to unite cultural diversity through sincere melodies and words, while honouring the roots and musical styles of each artist. Get ready to be moved to the rhythm of vibrant performances and to witness stories that come alive on stage. Nikamu Mamuitun 2 celebrates voices that light up and call out to one another, proving once again that music can bring worlds together.
