A must for the holidays in Quebec City, not to be missed!

The Rendez-vous des Artisans et Artistes de Wendake (RVAAW) organizes the traditional Wendake Christmas Market each year. This event gives exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their art and culture through their creations, as well as through performances such as dance, singing, and music. Visitors can also discover ancestral know-how by watching artisans at work, including snowshoe making, pottery, beadwork, corn husk doll making, and much more. Inspiring talks and tastings of traditional foods further enhance the experience, offering an immersive journey into the traditional and contemporary worlds of the First Nations. The event aims to highlight artisans and artists from various Nations while fostering a deeper cultural understanding of Indigenous peoples. Its mission is to promote local cultural art and build bridges between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. A must-see destination during the holiday season — and it’s free!
