Nunavik PARC NATIONAL TURSUJUQ

Located in the transition zone between the boreal forest and the tundra, p arc n ational Tursujuq, the largest of Québec’s national parks, is at the crossroads of Inuit and Cree cultures. It is home to over one hundred archeological sites, and its vast network of largely unexplored lakes and rivers is a genuine sanctuary for belugas. The two circular basins of Lac à l’Eau-Claire, the result of a dual meteoritic impact, together form the second largest natural lake in Québec, while adjacent to Lac Tasiujaq , rise the fabulous Hudsonian cuestas. The park allows camping in both summer and winter.
