Maliseet

The Wolastoqiyik Wahsipekuk Nation (the St-Laurent Maliseet) is a community living in Cacouna, along the south shore of the St. Lawrence River. They own a site that hosts the administrative building of the Maliseet of Viger First Nation; it’s a great spot to observe migratory birds and marine mammals. This Nation has always been known for the quality of its handicrafts: sculpture, quillwork, beadwork, and basket weaving.
