In Wendake, near Québec City, you’ll find the only recognized Huron-Wendat community in all of Canada, located near their former village of Stadacona. High-quality infrastructures have allowed the community to promote its heritage and develop the cultural tourism sector.

Installée à Wendake depuis 1967, cette communauté très dynamique culturellement compte près de 2000 habitants. La langue d’origine est le Wendat, une langue iroquoienne, mais les Hurons-Wendat parlent aujourd’hui le français. C’est la seule communauté de la Nation huronne-wendat au Canada.
